About the event

Faith is no do-it-yourself project; neither is leadership. Learning to live and lead faithfully requires the consistent presence, perspective, and guidance of others. Spiritual friendship is essential on the journey. Amidst the persistent busyness and isolation of ministry, where might the Spirit be inviting you to a deeper relational life with God and others?

The American Baptist Churches of the Central Region would like to invite you to learn, reflect, enjoy an 80-minute presentation from Rob Loane on this opportunity to deepen your faith. Robert Loane serves VantagePoint3 Ministries as President, seeking to both learn and encourage a more relational way of life and ministry. VP3 partners with leaders in the church, marketplace, seminaries, and neighborhoods, who are looking for a proven, integrated process, like VP3’s The Journey, to help deepen and develop adults in Jesus’ name. He is the co-author of Deep Mentoring: Guiding Others on Their Leadership Journey (IVP, 2012) and A Mentoring Guide: Christ. Conversation. Companionship (VP3, 2019).

Participants can register at the following link: (https://form.jotform.com/232974241739060)

Thanks for your partnership in ministry!

LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

We acknowledge with respect the various native peoples on whose ancestral lands we worship. We encourage every member of our community to learn about the original inhabitants of this land. We are committed to cultivating meaningful relationships with Indigenous communities in our region and supporting their efforts to fight systemic racism that continues to harm them. We pledge to listen to and honor them as they speak about their experiences regarding oppression and cultural genocide. They are the authorities on their own history and our role in that history. To acknowledge this land is to recognize and respect that the air, water, land, and all that inhabits them are intertwined with the spirituality of these people.
