About the event

In 2022, the Hartford Institute for Religion found that more than half of U.S. pastors had seriously considered leaving pastoral ministry, citing burnout, isolation, and conflict as major contributing factors. We respect that the current news cycle and increasing political polarization have only added to this pressure. We want to support and connect you.

Please join us for a clergy connection group this October, on Thursdays from 12-1pm ET. We'll read and discuss

For a Time Such as This an Emergency Devotional by Dr. Hanna Reichel. Please use this link to purchase the book or find it at your favorite book retailer.

You are not alone. Please join us.

(Each week we will address each consecutive section of the book. We understand that your schedule may not allow you to be present at all sessions; you will still benefit from being part of as many as you are able to make.)

LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

We acknowledge with respect the various native peoples on whose ancestral lands we worship. We encourage every member of our community to learn about the original inhabitants of this land. We are committed to cultivating meaningful relationships with Indigenous communities in our region and supporting their efforts to fight systemic racism that continues to harm them. We pledge to listen to and honor them as they speak about their experiences regarding oppression and cultural genocide. They are the authorities on their own history and our role in that history. To acknowledge this land is to recognize and respect that the air, water, land, and all that inhabits them are intertwined with the spirituality of these people.
