About the event

has served as pastor, interim pastor, national staff person in ABCUSA, and director of Ministerial Studies and Associate Professor of Ministerial Leadership at Andover Newton Seminary. His experience in all of these settings give him a unique perspective on where congregations find themselves today, in this in-between time. He co-authored the book with an Episcopal priest and spiritual director. The book explores three primary images that exercise the greatest influence in a congregation as it discerns its future: remembering, letting go, and resurrecting. Join us in a conversation with Jeffrey Jones about how these concepts play out, what they mean, and how they can help our understanding of our own faith and practices. Jeffrey D. LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

We acknowledge with respect the various native peoples on whose ancestral lands we worship. We encourage every member of our community to learn about the original inhabitants of this land. We are committed to cultivating meaningful relationships with Indigenous communities in our region and supporting their efforts to fight systemic racism that continues to harm them. We pledge to listen to and honor them as they speak about their experiences regarding oppression and cultural genocide. They are the authorities on their own history and our role in that history. To acknowledge this land is to recognize and respect that the air, water, land, and all that inhabits them are intertwined with the spirituality of these people.
